The two guys are Tommy and Slav. The locals who I happened to meet in the park who took me to the location where Opvoempe were having their picnic.

Zagreb..
Staying in th hostel near Kraz - the chocolate factory...
Spent the day yesterday with the ladies from Opvoempe, a performance group from Sao Paulo here for Urban Festival. Their intervention was a series of doors with questions on cards. They asked locals what they regretted, And the answers were then placed on the doors for others to see. It was fascinating watching them in action.

Ended up going out afterwards and drinking in very fabulous Zagreb hotspots.

- drinking white wine, eating good salami and cheese with sarah and friend on a bridge somewhere
- meeting neil, long hair and matt and our night in santa margerita
- walking through the guggenheim

venice.. a city of beautiful laneways, canals, bridges.. and tourists. It can almost feel like you've stepped into an amusement park. the sound of luggage scraping against the marble walkways creates a surreal soundscape while you get lost, and lost again and again.
It could've also been my entirely jetlagged state.
needless, it was a beautiful spot. I drank good coffee, met up with lovely people and ended up taking a lift with neil, matt and long hair to Trieste in their campervan. But that's another story!

the whirlwind london pitstop included dinner at a fabulous indian restaurant with sahil and daniel (kelly's fantastic friends), market days with laura and jane and going to to a burlesque party in bethnal green with miss tracey. much fun;-)
